22. Philadelphia 76ers - Jared McCain, G, Duke
It's safe to say that the Philadelphia 76ers will be just fine even after trading James Harden. After some very big questions about this team during the offseason after Harden had demanded a trade, the Sixers have answered the bell pretty soundly through the first month of the season. The rise of Tyrese Maxey has helped but this is a team that very much has risen to the occasion without the services of Harden.
The question for the Sixers is whether or not what they've done so far this season is sustainable. Either way, there's no question that the Sixers are going to need some help in the backcourt. With their first-round pick, which will likely be in the 20-30 range, the Sixers could take a flier on Jared McCain, a 6-foot-3 point guard out of Duke.
Even on a loaded Duke team, McCain has made his presence felt. Through the first few games of the season, McCain is averaging eight points and four rebounds on 46 percent shooting from 3-point range. If he can show a little more playmaking prowess, there's a chance McCain could rise up the draft boards into the season.
