26. Miami Heat - Elliot Cadeau, G, North Carolina
Even though the Miami Heat has been a bit better than expected to start the season, this is a team that very much still has some holes along their roster. And the biggest of which is in the backcourt. After missing on Damian Lillard and Bradley Beal during the offseason and with Kyle Lowry being in the final year of his contract, the Heat will be in the market for guards during the offseason.
The Heat could effectively get a jump on that by selecting one in the NBA Draft. Figuring they're going to select late in the first round, Ellion Cadeau could emerge as a potential fit for the Heat at this point in the draft. Cadeau is a bit undersized at 6-foot-1, but it's his playmaking and developing offensive game that could help cement himself as a first-round pick.
Cadeau may be far from a finished product but you have to trust one of the most proven developmental systems in the NBA. A talent like Cadeau could be promising in the eyes of the Heat with a huge need at the point guard position.
