3. San Antonio Spurs - Isaiah Collier, G, USC
The San Antonio Spurs won the NBA Draft Lottery last season and landed Victor Wembanyama with their first pick. I'd be shocked if the Spurs strike lightning two years in a row. Even if the Spurs don't land the No. 1 overall pick, that doesn't mean they can't still find a really good player with a projected top 5 pick. Right now, they'll be selected third overall where they can land a strong complementary (potential) star for Wemby.
With the way the two picks have gone, the Spurs could select Isaiah Collier, one of the bigger names from this year's NBA Draft class with the No. 3 pick. Collier is playing his freshman season at USC. Collier is a 6-foot-4 point guard with star potential. By the end of the season, it wouldn't be surprising if he played his way to being the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft.
Through the first five games of the season, Collier is averaging 20 points and four assists on 53 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from 3-point range. Collier and Wemby could create the league's next best duo.
