7. Tyrese Haliburton, Indiana Pacers

As one of the most exciting teams in the league and currently sitting as a top 6 team in the Eastern Conference, it would be a crime if Tyrese Haliburton wasn't included on this list one way or another. I think he's going to be getting some NBA MVP consideration if he continues to play at such a high level and if the Indiana Pacers continue to make a climb up the East standings. For now, he'll check in as a player to monitor.

Through the first quarter of the season, Haliburton is averaging 27 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds per game on 52 percent shooting from the field and 45 percent shooting from 3-point range. He's having a career year across the board as the Pacers look more and more like a team that could potentially make some noise in the East this season.

Ultimately, the big question is whether Haliburton has enough help around him for the Pacers to have staying power at the top of the East standings. Right now, the verdict is still out. However, there's a chance that Indiana becomes one of those teams that no one is going to want to face in the postseason. And Haliburton is one of the primary reasons why.
