6. Kevin Durant, Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns haven't been what many expected them to be so far this season but they've begun to show signs of improvement over the last couple of weeks. And Kevin Durant's consistency this season has played a big part in that. With Bradley Beal still trying to rehab an early-season injury, KD has been the superstar and No. 1 option the Suns have needed next to Devin Booker. KD makes this team a legit championship contender in the West.

The Suns aren't even 100 percent yet and you can already begin to see the potential they're going to have when the playoffs roll around. KD specifically is going to be a big part of that. KD is averaging 31 points, six rebounds, and six assists per game so far this season. He's been a bit part of why the Suns have rebounded after a somewhat of a slow start.

If the Suns do end up getting healthy at some point before the playoffs, this is a team that will have a good chance of winning it all. And while Booker and Beal will play a bit part of that, it all begins with KD.
