Los Angeles Lakers
The Los Angeles Lakers are considered a natural landing spot for Zach LaVine ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline. The Lakers have a need in the backcourt and could very much benefit from another high-level scorer next to LeBron James and Anthony Davis, especially considering their struggles to remain healthy. Even though there have been recent concerns about the Lakers taking on his contract and an overall fit for LaVine on the team, I'd have to imagine that there will at least be some conversations to be had between the two sides.
The difficulty for the Lakers is that in order to get to LaVine's contract number, they'd have to include both D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura, especially if they're not willing to include Austin Reaves in a potential deal. The Lakers could then add rookie Jalen Hood-Schifino and their only trade-eligible first-round pick to add some icing to an otherwise "meh" offer.
I think the upside with Hachimura coupled with the Lakers' rookie and first-round pick would be enough for the Bulls to accept such a deal. The big question is whether the Lakers would be willing to make such an offer.
