There’s Nothing To Play For This Season
The last time I checked, the Knicks had the most losses in the NBA (29) and the second-to-last most wins in the league (5). The only team that is worst than the Knicks right now is the Philadelphia 76ers. And one could make a legitimate argument that the Knicks are the worst team in the league, and I wouldn’t strongly disagree.
As I like to say, the proof is in the pudding. The Knicks are not going to make the playoffs. There’s no reason for Carmelo Anthony to be gutting through potentially serious knee injuries in order for the Knicks to reach 20 wins this season.
It’s over, Melo. Your Knicks aren’t doing anything this season.
