Each year NBA teams invest thousands of dollars and countless hours into preparing for the NBA Draft.
Still, each year a player or two slips under the radar and pays huge dividends for the team that takes the risk in drafting him. Or, on the flip side, there are players at the top of the draft that fail to pan out.
Over the past decade, players like Rudy Gobert, Jimmy Butler, Reggie Jackson, Hassan Whiteside, Taj Gibson and Serge Ibaka, have all been drafted 24th overall or later.
Meanwhile, players like Anthony Bennett, Dion Waiters, Thomas Robinson, and Jan Veselý have been drafted in the top 10 and look like absolute busts.
The NBA Draft is far from an exact science, but there are a handful of players who can turn into quality NBA players, if not stars down the road.
Here’s my take on five players who are poised to be sleepers in the 2015 NBA Draft.
