The NBA Draft is usually very unpredictable, and this year’s version of it is shaping up to be no different. If anything, it could be much more so. We know what the first three picks are going to be — a certain order of Karl-Anthony Towns, Jahlil Okafor and D’Angelo Russell — and not much else.
This year’s draft really begins when the New York Knicks go on the clock, though. That’s also when we could get our first trade of the day. But, most importantly, that’s when the draft will likely get a turn for the interesting. Mostly because we simply have no earthy idea as to what the Knicks will actually do with their pick.
Nevertheless, after weeks of guessing and predicting, I take my hand at…well…guessing and predicting some more. Here are 10 things I think will happen on NBA Draft night.
