Robin Lopez

Contract: 4-years, $54 million

The New York Knicks, much to the dismay of many, didn’t exactly throw dumb money at any free agents this summer. Yea, I’m shocked as much as the next guy.

They almost had a nice offseason. In fact, solely based off the fact that the didn’t screw anything up, I think it’s safe to say that they had a successful summer. Signing Robin Lopez, a potential defensive anchor was their biggest move of the offseason.

Lopez is never going to explode on the offensive end at any point of his career, but you know you’ll get at least solid defensive production on a nightly basis. The Knicks will take that.

Verdict: Just About Right
