2014-15 Stats: 14.1 points, 5.4 rebounds

For the most part, the Brooklyn Nets know what they’re getting from Brook Lopez and Joe Johnson. What they got from Thaddeus Young, coupled with his versatility, was often a bonus. In order for the Nets not to remain in mediocrity, they need Young to be more consistent.

Young gives Brooklyn the position-less tool that the NBA is slowly transitioning to. Every team needs one to stay ahead of the curve, and the Nets possibly have theirs in Young.

He’s also the perfect fit next to Brook Lopez, if he can find a way to consistently shoot 40 percent from three-point range again this upcoming season – he only shot 29 percent from 3 with the Wolves, but 38 percent after he was traded to the Nets.
