2014-15 Stats: N/A

Because of what we know now, the Charlotte Hornets NEED Frank Kaminsky to be a home run. They declined a lucrative trade offer, as did the Miami Heat, on NBA draft night in order to draft Kaminsky. Whether that was smart or not remains to be seen. They just can’t come away with another bust.

And its not like Kaminsky has to be the second coming of Kevin Love, either. He just needs to be a solid starter in the NBA, which he possibly showed he could be during NBA Summer League.

Playing next to Al Jefferson won’t hurt Kaminsky, either. If he can’t take advantage of playing next to Big Al, I’m not sure what type of chance he has at being a serviceable big in the NBA.
