For a team that made the playoffs a year ago, I have to say, this was very surprising. I even went back to look if I underrated one or two of their players. No dice.

Looking at this lineup though, you can see why it scored so low based on my rating system. They don’t have any all-star caliber players, much less a superstar of any kind. I also assumed that David Lee would be starting for this team at some point this season, if not from the jump.

Still, the Celtics’ front office has its work cut out for them. Boston might’ve made the playoffs last season, but that might have had more to do with the rest of the conference than it did with the talent on this roster.
