28. Denver Nuggets

Starting Five: Emmanuel Mudiay, Randy Foye, Danilo Gallinari, Kenneth Faried, Jusuf Nurkic

Starting Five Rating: 14

For a team that definitely has some talent on its roster, I was a bit surprised to see the Denver Nuggets score so low. Then again, this only echoes the sentiment that in order to be successful in the NBA, you need all-stars and, if possible, a superstar.

The Denver Nuggets clearly don’t have any of those types of players and it hurt them in this ranking.

To the on-court side of things though, it’s going to be interesting to see what impact Mudiay has on this team in year 1. If he can be that distributor, I wouldn’t be surprised to see this Nuggets team potentially be the surprise of the NBA. They have all the capable ingredients, the kind of just need the straw.
