NBA: Seven Players Coming Back From Injury To Keep An Eye On In 2015-16
Kevin Durant, Oklahoma City Thunder
All eyes will be on Kevin Durant this season for two reasons.
For one, will he be able to bounce back from an injury-plagued season? One that saw him undergo multiple procedures on his foot. One that saw him come back, and still have foot issues. We know the history of 7-footers and foot injuries – and it’s not good. Everyone will be watching to see if Durant can avoid it.
And second, will the Thunder ever return to the NBA Finals? The last time this team was healthy, they were facing off against Miami Heat in the championship. Though, for some odd reason, the Thunder as a team haven’t been able to shake the injury bug. If it wasn’t Russell Westbrook, it was Serge Ibaka. If it wasn’t Ibaka, it was Durant.
The Thunder are due. And if Kevin Durant can remain healthy, and return to form, who’s to say that they can’t make a thundering roar back to the top of the NBA mountain?
