  • Kevin Durant is back and healthy. If that wasn’t evident during preseason, I’m not sure what was. With a team loaded with talent – Russell Westbrook, Enes Kanter, Serge Ibaka and Dion Waiters – we’re going to get a close look at what the Oklahoma City Thunder are going to be this season.

They open up with the San Antonio Spurs. The new-look Spurs, to be more exact.

After adding the most sought after free agent during the summer, expectations are at an all-time high in San Antonio. LaMarcus Aldridge joins a team that already have NBA Championship aspirations. It’s going to be hard not to consider the Spurs as one of the favorites to come out of the West.

In one of the better matchups during opening week, we’ll get our first taste of a possible Western Conference Finals preview when the Thunder and Spurs lock up.
