What They’re Thankful For: Brooklyn’s No. 1 pick 

The Boston Celtics might’ve made the mistake of playing for the playoffs last season, now realizing that had they gotten a top-10 pick in last year’s NBA Draft they would’ve had the opportunity to draft Justise Winslow, but they can more than make up for that potential mistake this season – and they don’t even have to try to be bad.

Thanks to what the Brooklyn Nets have become this season, which is a very bad team, the Celtics are almost guaranteed to have a top pick in this year’s NBA Draft. That’s because the Nets’ pick is sent to the Celtics. And Boston fans – as well as everyone in that front office – should be ecstatic with that potential.
