NBA: 10 Things We Know Through The First Quarter Of The 2015-16 Season
The Warriors Might Actually Be Unbeatable
It’s really weird and we often don’t even know how to handle it. The Golden State Warriors are so much better than the rest of the NBA – which is something that we haven’t seen in quite a while, probably since the Michael Jordan led Bulls – that we don’t know how to approach it.
Should be not even play out the rest of the year? Should we give them two round byes when the playoffs begin? Do we hand Stephen Curry the NBA MVP trophy during their Christmas Day game?
What the Warriors are doing this season is historic. We. HAVE. NEVER. SEEN. THIS. BEFORE.
They started the season 24-0, which was an NBA record, and suffered their first official loss of the season in December.
Golden State is one of only two teams – which we’ll get to later – to have both a top 5 offense and defense right now. Their net rating is 14.8. Absurd. The Warriors are good – really good – and might actually be unbeatable.
Who is beating this team four out of seven times in May or June? No one.
