NBA: 10 Things We Know Through The First Quarter Of The 2015-16 Season
The Knicks Need To Trade Carmelo Anthony
The relationship that Kristaps Porzingis and Carmelo Anthony have built is cute. With what started (reportedly) with Melo being angry that the Knicks drafted a seven-foot Latvian big man that was two years away, at least, has transformed into one of the best rookie-veteran relationships in the entire NBA.
Porzingis has proved the masses wrong and that he in fact does belong in the NBA right now, but isn’t exactly ready to compete for a championship. And if that’s something that Carmelo Anthony really wants right now, it would be in his best interest to move on from the New York Knicks.
It would actually help both parties. The Knicks would be able to surround Porzingis with more young talent and it would give Melo the opportunity that he wants to win an NBA Championship before he retires.
