Los Angeles Lakers: Kobe Bryant’s Most Memorable NBA Moments
Completes Three-Peat
Kobe Bryant was a part of the NBA’s last three-peat. As he continued his role as Shaquille O’Neal’s running mate in Los Angeles, the Lakers polished off a three-straight NBA Championship in the way of a 4-0 series win over the New Jersey Nets.
In that 2002 series against the Nets, Kobe averaged 27 points, six rebounds and five assists – talk about a sidekick. Nevertheless, this moment has to be one of Kobe’s fondest memories in the NBA. Only three other team’s have completed this feat. That’s pretty good – and rare- company to be in.
It was a great cap on a really dominant three years for the Kobe-Shaq Lakers. And, by this time, Kobe was already considered one of the best players in the NBA. He had made the full evolution from really good player to superstar.
