4. Cleveland Cavaliers (1-0)

What began as somewhat of an up and down Game 1 against the Detroit Pistons ended in the better – and more experienced – team coming away with a home win. The Cavs, led by a big performance from their Big Three, outscored the Pistons by 12 points in the final 11 minutes (after falling behind by seven points) to seal their 106-101 Game 1 win over Detroit.

LeBron James, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving combined to score 81 points for the Cavs. Irving led all scores with 31. Despite snagging the series lead, the fact that the Cavs’ Big Three each had exceptional games and they only won by five points is something to keep in mind going forward.

Maybe not in this series, but perhaps down the line in the playoffs.
