Golden State Warriors vs Cleveland Cavaliers: NBA Finals Roundtable
The most important player for the Cavs is…
MS: Kevin Love. It’s pretty simple. If he can outplay Draymond Green, the Cavs should be in good position to win this series.
WG: The most important player for the Cavs is Tristian Thompson. The best way to beat the Warriors is with offensive rebounds and giving them as little possessions as possible. Rebounding is Thompson’s strongest attribute and he will need to be huge on the boards for the Cavs to win.
EG: The most important player for the Cavs is Kevin Love. He’s healthy and playing right now. His consistency will dictate whether the Cavs will win or not.
CM: Lebron James, he’s the leader of the team, and he has a 2-4 Finals record, so I’m sure he’ll do whatever is necessary to avoid going 2-5.
JA: The most important player for the Cavaliers is … come on, really? It’s LeBron James. He’s everything I said Draymond Green is for the Warriors, but better. He is their point guard, their best scorer, their leader, and their best defender.
GG: LeBron James. Quite simply, the Cavs don’t win if he has a bad game. It’s no secret that he has to be counted on to score and handle playmaking duties even if Kyrie is on the floor.
NB: Kevin Love. Hands down.
ND: Kevin Love. His skill set could give Golden State some issues.
JR: This is not the time to get cute. The only answer is Lebron James. His All-Star sidekicks will need to step up, as well as other teammates, but that’s all for naught if James struggles against Iguodala.
Next: Dirty Dray or Dirty Delly?
