18. Detroit Pistons

Pick: Henry Ellenson, F, Marquette 

With the 18th pick, Henry Ellenson just fell to the laps of the Detroit Pistons. As someone projected in the top 10 at certain points after the college season, this is a great value pick for the Pistons.

He can play the stretch 4 or 5, and is one of the most offensively skilled bigs in the daft. Raw, but talented nonetheless.

He does have his shortcomings on the defensive end, but I don’t think anyone expects a polished defensive big at the age of 19. Ellenson is going to be a project, but has the tools to be a really good player in the NBA. And he’s going to enjoy playing next to Andre Drummond, who will help erase some of his defensive mistakes.
