New York Knicks

Biggest Hole: Depth

On paper, the argument could be made that the New York Knicks have one of the best starting fives in all the NBA. By name recognition alone, they’re probably just below the Golden State Warriors and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Derrick Rose, Courtney Lee, Carmelo Anthony, Kristaps Porzingis and Joakim Noah. If this team was constructed in 2010, they would be the favorite to win the NBA Championship. Because it’s 2016, though, this team’s ceiling is anyone’s guess. In other words, I’m not exactly sure what to expect from the Knicks this season.

It could be great or really bad. It could get epically bad if the Knicks have to play through injuries this season, especially considering that their second group currently consists of Sasha Vujacic, Kyle O’Quinn, Guillermo Hernangomez and Lance Thomas. Let’s just hope Brandon Jennings can carry the bench.
