Memphis Grizzlies

Biggest Hole: Backcourt Depth

The Memphis Grizzlies have the talent to be really good this season. On paper, they’re probably good enough to potentially finish in the top 4 of the Western Conference. Of course, that’s all contingent on the team remaining healthy for the entire season.

That means Marc Gasol returning back to 100 percent, Chandler Parsons being able to put his recent injury issues behind him and Mike Conley being able to avoid the big injury. While I’m not entirely sure they’ll be able to do all that, I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt now.

And the Grizzlies better hope injuries don’t continue to be a problem in 2016-17, especially in their backcourt. Behind Conley is only rookie Wade Baldwin and Andrew Harrison, and behind Tony Allen (at shooting guard) is Vince Carter (?) Troy Daniels and Jordan Adams. Yikes.
