Karl-Anthony Towns vs Anthony Davis (Wolves vs Pelicans)

Minnesota Timberwolves @ New Orleans Pelicans – Nov. 23rd

As I referenced in my top 10 power forwards in the NBA piece, I can’t wait to see the eventual rivalry that these two players will have during their careers in the NBA. I would like to see it in the playoffs but, without that guarantee, watching them in the regular season isn’t a bad consolation prize.

Assuming that Anthony Davis is healthy this season, the New Orleans Pelicans should be a better team. The addition of Buddy Hield is also quite intriguing. For the Minnesota Timberwolves, not much explanation needs to be made. They’re young and one of the most exciting teams in the NBA, not to mention Karl-Anthony Towns.

More than anything, the individual battles between Davis and Towns is going to be must-see TV. With another season under their belts, 2016-17 should be no different.
