Darren Collison, Sacramento Kings

Now that the Sacramento Kings are officially rebuilding and have bailed on the “win-now” philosophy that they curiously elected to travel down, there’s apparently a fire sale going on in Sacramento.

From the sound of it, almost every veteran on the roster will be available at the NBA Trade Deadline. Perhaps the one with the biggest value, however, is Darren Collison.

Collison is a proven point guard in the league, starter or in a bench role. The veteran lead guard is averaging nearly 14 points and four assists per game this season. He’s also a pretty efficient scorer, and shoots the three-ball at a 42 percent clip. Collison likely doesn’t put any team over the top, but he would be a solid addition to any team’s second unit.
