Brooklyn Nets

What to be thankful for: D’Angelo Russell

It’s tough to give the Brooklyn Nets any love these days, but when they deserve it they deserve it. And the argument could be made that the Nets deserve some love for trading for D’Angelo Russell this past summer.

By moving Brook Lopez, the Nets managed to get Russell from the Lakers. The misunderstood Russell struggled during his time with the Lakers, but he’s begun to blossom with the Nets this season.

Russell is averaging 21 points, six assists and five rebounds so far this season. He’s been an absolute steal.
