12. Los Angeles Clippers: Daniel Gafford C Arkansas

This seems like a pretty clear pick for the Clippers. With two late lottery picks the Clippers need to take a big man with at least one. It’s unclear if the Clippers will resign DeAndre Jordan even though I think they’ll offer him as much possible money they can (even though they shouldn’t). Even if Jordan does resign with the Clippers they still should be in the market for a backup big man in the offseason.

Daniel Gafford is still very raw offensively, but should be able to provide 10-15 minutes immediately as a backup big. Standing at almost 7 feet tall, Gafford is a superb athlete for his size. He’s currently averaging 2 blocks at Arkansas only playing 22 minutes a game.
