9. Fred VanVleet, Toronto Raptors

Stats: 8.6 points, 3.2 assists, 2.4 rebounds 

Fred VanVleet is another interesting name that could be in line for a big payday this summer, depending on how the market opens up for point guards.

Though he’s a bit undersized at 6-foot flat, VanVleet was a big reason why the Toronto Raptors had one of the NBA’s best benches this season. He only averaged nine points per game, but he was instant energy off the bench.

Expect Toronto to match any offer that VanVleet gets, unless it’s unexpectedly rich. No matter what changes the Raptors make this summer – big or small – they should make it a priority to retain VanVleet.
