Marcus Smart isn’t your prototypical shooting guard or point guard, but he can play both positions with ease. While he continues to struggle with his outside shooting, he’s versatile enough to guard nearly every position on the basketball court – and that’s where his true value lies.

Smart is going to demand big money on the open market, and he’s only 24 years old. His best basketball is still in front of him. He’s the type of player that you hate to play against, but love when he’s on your team.

He isn’t every going to lead a team in scoring or be the most efficient offensive player, but the defensive tenacity that he brings and all-around hustle is more than enough to make his value clear on any team.
