Kawhi won’t re-sign with the Toronto Raptors

Almost immediately after Kawhi Leonard was traded to the Toronto Raptors, from the San Antonio Spurs, many came out and voiced their opinion on how this is pretty much a one-year rental before he makes the move to Los Angeles.

I’m not so sure. With the Raptors, there’s a good chance that Kawhi has a very successful season. There’s a real chance that they could end up in the NBA Finals, with the big foe in the East being the Boston Celtics.

If the Raptors play up to their potential, and if Kawhi is indeed healthy, Toronto will be one of the favorites to come out of the East. And if this team makes it to the NBA Finals, how could Kawhi walk away from that?
