New York Knicks

Talking about adding a player in anticipation for next summer’s free agency period, the New York Knicks are another team that should be on the watch when it comes to the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes.

New York has been in the rumor mill for potentially being a landing spot for Butler and Kyrie Irving, who are both free agents next summer. However, if they really want to throw their hat in the ring for free agency next summer, trading for Jimmy B now could make it all that much more interesting.

The Knicks are a team that has some really nice young prospects, but could very much benefit from adding a veteran star like Butler. The Knicks haven’t been relevant from a national standpoint in a long time, and making a big splash like trading for Jimmy B could be the first step in accomplishing that.
