LA is a terrible shooting team

I don’t think any team pegged the Los Angeles Lakers as a great shooting team coming into this season, but at the same time I don’t think anyone expected this team to be this bad at shooting. Through the first week of the season, the Lakers are the second-worst deep shooting team in the NBA.

LeBron and company is shooting 24 percent from 3-point range this season on nearly 31 attempts per game. Even LeBron, who has developed as an above average 3-point shooter as of late, has gotten off to a 1-11 start from deep.

Expectedly, the Lakers have started 0-2, mostly because bad shooting teams don’t win very often in the NBA. Not even LeBron can save them from that. The Lakers have some chemistry things to work out as the season progresses, and now it appears they have a shooting issue that needs some resolving too.
