Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets

Stats: 35 points, 5.3 assists, 48% FG, 50% 3PT

Through the first week of the NBA season, Kemba Walker has gotten off to arguably the hottest individual start in the league. He’s the leading scorer, averaging 35 points per contest on a red-hot 48 percent from the field and 50 percent from deep.

He has his Charlotte Hornets at 2-1, with their only loss on the season coming by one point at the hands of the Milwaukee Bucks. Kemba is in the final year of his contract, and he’s playing exactly like a player that knows he’s about to hit the free agency market soon.

There have been whispers about his future in Charlotte, and there’s probably still a chance that he could be traded before the NBA Trade Deadline. Although, with the way that he’s playing at the moment, it would make little sense for the Hornets to move him.
