New Orleans Pelicans

ORTG: 127.9, NETRTG: 16.3

Through two games, there might not be a hotter team than the New Orleans Pelicans. Even after losing Rajon Rondo and DeMarcus Cousins during the summer, this is a team that is playing like they haven’t missed a beat.

They currently have the NBA’s best offensive rating and net rating. Which means they’re beating teams by a higher margin than any other team in the league. Their offense is also absolutely insane at the moment.

Specifically, Nikola Mirotic is on a tear for the team, averaging 33 points per game on 65 percent shooting from 3-point range (8.5 attempts per contest). Additionally, Anthony Davis is picking up where he left off, averaging 29 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists per game.
