Collin Sexton, Cleveland Cavaliers

It shouldn’t be all that surprising to see Cleveland Cavaliers rookie Collin Sexton on this list. However, Sexton has been largely ignored from the general public – probably because he plays for the boring Cavaliers.

Nevertheless, Sexton is having an impressive first year in Cleveland. Sexton is averaging 16 points, three rebounds and three assists on 42 percent shooting from the field and 41 percent from 3-point range on the season. In the month of March, though, he’s been even more impressive – averaging 22 points on 52 percent shooting from the field and 47 percent from 3-point range.

Even though Sexton leaves much to be desired when it comes to being a natural playmaker, the hope is that he can develop that skill of his game as he continues to grow as an NBA player. After somewhat of a shaky start to the season, there’s no question that Sexton has turned in a promising rookie year.
