Denver Nuggets: 51.5 (-135) – Over

For my money, this is the easiest future bet on the board right now. (-135) isn’t ideal odds, but unless Nikola Jokic suffers an injury that forces him out for an extended period, I don’t think there is any way they don’t get at least 52 wins. In fact, I think they have the best chance of any team in the Western Conference to hit the elusive 60-win mark.

The Denver Nuggets won 54 games last year and will return every key player from last year’s team. In addition to a roster that’s already proven they can win a lot of games, they should eventually get “rookie” Michael Porter Jr. added to the mix as well who is one of my breakout players for the upcoming season.

It’s worth repeating that the Western Conference is going to be brutal next year, but there will certainly be a team that comes close to the 60-win mark. The West wasn’t exactly a cakewalk last year either and this group got to 54 wins by boasting the best home-court advantage in the league (34-7 last year) and a potential MVP candidate in Nikola Jokic. Last year definitely wasn’t a fluke, over 51.5 is a lock if there ever was one.
