The return of a dominant LeBron James

The demise of LeBron James is no more, it appears. Towards the latter portion of last season, that was all anyone could really talk about when it came to the Los Angeles Lakers. Even though they missed the playoffs, it was pretty clear that LeBron simply wasn’t right. He was injured and never looked the same even when he returned.

However, it appears that a summer off was really all LeBron needed. So far this season, he’s looked as good as he’s ever been. He has helped lead the Lakers to a league-best 15-2 record, with the help of Anthony Davis (who was acquired by the team during the offseason).

It’s a scary thought to think of what this team would’ve looked like had Kawhi Leonard decided to sign with the Lakers during free agency. A trio of LeBron, Kawhi and AD might’ve been the best Big Three of all-time. Speaking of that…
