New Orleans Pelicans

Perhaps this might be a bit premature, but I just want to be the first one to throw all my money in on the New Orleans Pelicans. I believe in this team’s talent, vision, and potential. Even though we only saw Zion Williamson for a few weeks this past season, the fact that he fit almost seamlessly with Brandon Ingram, who also enjoyed a career season this past year, gives me confidence that this team’s future is promising.

We also can’t forget about Lonzo Ball, who was beginning to play some of the better basketball of his tenure with the Pelicans. New Orleans could also elect to trade some of their veterans on the roster and that could interfere with this team making the playoffs next season. Though, if they keep Jrue Holiday and JJ Redick, this team could very well be a top 6 team in the Western Conference next season.

At the very least, the Pelicans will be one of the most entertaining teams in 2020-21. If nothing else, I suppose that’s something to be excited about.
