NBA prediction No. 3: This will be LeBron’s last hurray as the NBA’s best player

LeBron James has had a tremendous run as the NBA’s best player over the last 10-plus years. Although, at the age of 35, you can’t help but think that his best days are already behind him. That doesn’t mean he’s going to completely fall off a cliff (play-wise) next season or to say that he won’t still be a great player moving forward.

Instead, this just means that this will be his last postseason in which he’s unquestionably the best player on the floor no matter the opponent. I believe LeBron will pick up where he left off and will play with a chip on his shoulder. This might be his last great chance at an NBA title and he won’t take that lightly.

LeBron is going to be on a mission when the season resumes, and I believe he will make, at the very least, a deep playoff run – one that will find himself and the Lakers in the NBA Finals. Beyond that, who knows. I just know LeBron won’t be taking this opportunity lightly.

At 35, and with his best years already behind him, how could he?
