9. Washington Wizards – Onyeka Okongwu, C, USC

Onyeka Okongwu may not have the size as a James Wiseman, but in 2-3 years he could end up being the better player between the two. That feeling is why he continues to rise up draft boards and will likely continue to do so until the NBA Draft. The big question about Okongwu is whether he’ll be able to be as versatile in the NBA as say a Bam Adebayo.

Bam was viewed as an undersized big – both are at 6-foot-9 – but because of his versatility on both the defensive and offensive ends, he’s become one of the best young players in the league. If Okongwu can show similar promise, he’ll be a top 5 pick. Of course, it’s never fair to compare two players, that’s the hope.

Onyeka Okongwu averaged 16 points and nine rebounds per game during his freshman season at USC. He’d be a good fit on a Wizards team that is looking to round out around John Wall and Bradley Beal.
