NBA Mock Draft 9.0: LaMelo Ball falls out of the top 3; Knicks snag Obi Toppin
11. San Antonio Spurs – Saddiq Bey, F, Villanova
As the San Antonio Spurs head into an offseason of uncertainty, having the No. 11 pick will go a long way in determining how this team tackles the offseason. Could we see a trade of DeMar DeRozan and/or LaMarcus Aldridge at the NBA Draft?
Saddiq Bey is the prototypical wing in today’s NBA. That’s why he continues to rise up NBA Draft boards. He has great size at 6-foot-8 and if he’s good enough on the defensive end will be able to play multiple positions. He could give any team versatility and is the type of player whose potential could be maximized on a team like the Spurs.
Bey is coming off a great sophomore season in which he averaged 16 points and five rebounds 48 percent shooting from the field and 45 percent shooting from 3-point range. Bey would be a great addition at this point in the draft.
