Trade Target: Andrew Wiggins

Go ahead and laugh at the thought of an NBA team targeting Andrew Wiggins in 2020, but I will make the argument that he could be part of what the Cleveland Cavaliers are missing. They have a solid backcourt in Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, and Kevin Porter Jr, and have options in the frontcourt with Andre Drummond, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, and Larry Nance Jr.

They will likely address the wing at the draft or via the draft or free agency this offseason. Wiggins is as talented as a player that they could land and could perhaps benefit from being in a situation where he wouldn’t be relied on heavily.

To land Wiggins, the Cavs would likely either need a third team to help make it all work if the Golden State Warriors are jumping at the idea to add Kevin Love (he’s the Cavs’ best trade piece at this point) or Andre Drummond.

Either way, Wiggins on the Cavs wouldn’t be the worst of possibilities.
