NBA Mock Draft: Warriors take James Wiseman; Knicks snag Patrick Williams

11. San Antonio Spurs – Killian Hayes, G, Ratiopharm Ulm

There have been whispers that the San Antonio Spurs could be up to something big heading into the 2020 NBA Draft, with two big trade pieces in LaMarcus Aldridge and DeMar DeRozan, but with Killian Hayes falling to their laps with the No. 11 overall pick, perhaps a big move up in the draft isn’t needed after all.

There has been some variance about pundits on Killian Hayes, but there are plenty that believes he could end up being the second or third best guard to emerge from this class. He’s improved his shooting and playmaking ability over the last couple of seasons and should be considered a top 10 pick. And he might’ve been had this been a more traditional draft process.

Gregg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs have history had great success with international prospects in the draft and Hayes could be this franchise’s next great find.
