Jrue Holiday is a great fit

Even though Jrue Holiday isn’t a superstar, that shouldn’t discount this acquisition. On paper, Holiday is a great fit for a team that needs a combo guard that could be effective on both ends of the floor. That’s exactly what Holiday is.

Looking back at the playoffs last season, the Bucks didn’t get enough offense from any of their defensive guards – including Eric Bledsoe, George Hill, and Wes Matthews. Well, that’s something Holiday will be able to give the Bucks, without losing anything on the defensive end.

Holiday is one of the most undervalued two-way guards in the NBA and has the potential to be effective with or without the ball in his hands. So, if the Bucks wanted, they could still run the offensive through Khris Middleton or Giannis, and Holiday would still find ways to be effective.

Holiday is a better offensive player than he gets credit for and the paint would open up even more with him on the floor. This is a great fit all-around for Milwaukee.
