10. Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks quietly had a great offseason. Even though they didn’t make a splash move, by adding a big name, this team still improved. Josh Richardson is an upgrade over Seth Curry (no offense) and will help this team on both ends of the floor.

Luka Doncic is still gett better and we haven’t seen his peak yet, which should be a scary thought for every other team in the Western Conference. If Kristaps Porzingis can get (and remain) healthy, this team has the potential to be dangerous come playoff time.

The Mavs might not have as much talent as some of the other top teams in the West, but they could emerge as a dark horse candidate to make a deep run in the playoffs.
