NBA seller candidate: Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers aren’t out of the playoff picture in the Eastern conference by any means. In fact, you can make a case that this is a team that is destined for a real push in the second half of the season. They’re only two games out of the fourth seed in the East and will likely be healthy after the All-Star break.

Still, there’s just something that’s off with this team.

Even though the Pacers will be a tough matchup for any team in the playoffs, I’m not sure this team has enough talent on his roster to compete with the likes of the Philadelphia 76ers or Brooklyn Nets. This team should be open to a big move at the trade deadline and I’m not sure there’s anyone on this roster that would be considered “untouchable,” other than Domantas Sabonis.

It would be surprising for the Pacers to make a big move at the deadline, but this is not a team currently constructed that is ready to compete for a championship. Because of that, they should be open to anything heading into the trade deadline.
