2. Cleveland Cavaliers – Evan Mobley, F, USC
With the second overall pick, there are several ways the Cleveland Cavaliers can elect to go. However, after the performance that Evan Mobley showed in the NCAA Tournament and during his freshman season at USC, I believe that he’ll be the pick here regardless of who is making the selection.
You could make the argument that Mobley has made himself the unanimous No. 2 overall prospect behind Cunningham. In fact, you could actually make an argument that he could go No. 1 depending on how the draft lottery falls.
Mobley has already drawn some unfair expectations, but his talent is through the roof. It would be surprising if he fell out of the top 3 even though he could end up taking a second or two to fully develop.
