23. Los Angeles Lakers – Chris Duarte, G, Oregon

Chris Duarte is also one of the most experienced players that could be drafted in the first round of the 2021 NBA draft. He’s coming off a senior season in which the average 17 points on 40-plus percent shooting from deep.

He would be an ideal fit for the Lakers considering this is a team that needs a player, if they make this selection, that could play and contribute sooner rather than later.

The Lakers don’t have any glaring needs at the moment and just need to continue to add to their depth. Duarte also helps protect in the event that the Lakers are forced to move on from Dennis Schroder during the offseason.
